PhD

thesis manuscipt | defence presentation

In 2016 I completed a PhD in theoretical physics under the supervision of Xavier Waintal at CEA Grenoble. A large part of my time was spent writing computer programs that work out how electric current flows in tiny circuits when we do things like shine light on them. In more fancy language I say that I worked on the theory and simulation of time-dependent quantum transport in nanoelectronic devices.

In 2017 my thesis won the Springer prize for outstanding Phd theses. The professionally published thesis is available from the Springer website.
